Projecting Light
I’m a fan of lighting design. One of the cool, modern trends I’ve seen recently is created by projecting light. Here’s what I mean:
![4 overlapping circles of white light are projected onto a grey wall behind. The floor lamp has a black base and silver stand with 4 adjustable LED lights.](https://kimballstarr.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Kimball-Starr-Interior-Design_Blog-Projected-Light-WaWa-580x580.jpg)
This projector LED floor lamp can create multiple overlays and shapes.

A Sunset table lamp throws the shape and color of the sun onto your walls or artwork.
![A small almost-clear glass lamp throws a tall slice of white light directly upwards against a wall next to a framed print of a woman biting into a blackberry.](https://kimballstarr.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Kimball-Starr-Interior-Design_Blog-Projected-Light-Atman-580x580.jpg)
This table lamp washes light in a long slice, creating an exciting accent.

The PostKrisi Sun wall lamp displays its unique texture as an interplay of light with tendrils of material.
Would any of these bring excitement to your next project?
