Award-Winning Designs

I’m proud to share that we won a Houzz Award for Best of Design 2023!

Two tall rows of Houzz awards won by Kimball Starr Interior Design. Starting at the bottom in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 for Best in Service. Also in 2016, Best in Design. 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2022 were Best in Service. The newest award is 2023 Best of Houzz Design, a box in green with the top trimmed to resemble a slanted roof. The 2022 Best in Service award looks the same but in yellow.

Added to our other 9 Houzz awards from 2013 until 2022, that’s a lot of recognition for our interior designs and great customer service. I’m honored!

Speaking of customer service, we also received yet another 5-star review on Yelp from a happy client! That makes 15 total since 2011, all 5-stars. I couldn’t be more pleased! Below is the full text:

I remodeled an entire condo and Kimball guided the design process. Her keen sense of design, professionalism and most important, patience, made it a pleasure to work with her during an otherwise stressful period. Bringing a vision of how I wanted my home to look, Kimball educated me on finishes, color combinations, textures, and overall design protocol.

For the kitchen and bathrooms, she meticulously drafted the plans for the contractors, ensuring our unique plans came to life, and consulted on furniture selection and placement.

Saying I love how the condo turned out would be an understatement. I highly recommend Kimball Starr!

A modern bathroom in mostly all-white: Walls, cabinetry, counters, toilet, and tub with a clear glass shower screen and door. The floor is the most colorful element, being a geographic pattern of squares tilted on their sides in dark blue and grey fields with 4 leaf or feather patterns in white, yellow, and green, connected in the center, alternating with a second pattern of black, green, and white feather shapes. Very hip and mod!
