A vintage metal army desk was sprayed with hard-wearing automobile paint. Using the homeowner's hobbies as inspiration, layers of images were decoupaged onto the desktop and multiple coats of sealant were laid over the images for a durable desktop finish.
Fallen Redwood tree was harvested from the forest floor to create this contemporary live-edge dining table. The custom 3" thick slab rests on top of a thin black steel base.
